LiNA Monopolar Loop

LiNA Loop

The LINA Loop is a safe and cost effective monopolar loop for sectioning of the uterus during subtotal/supracervical hysterectomy LSH. The LiNA Loop can also be used for myomas.

The large dimensions of the instrument (165 mm x 65 mm) ensure it is suitable for all uterus sizes, while the small diameter enables the loop to be introduced through a 5-mm trocar. This minimises the use of large 10-mm and 12- mm trocars. The first 165 mm of the loop are insulated. The remaining 15 mm on each side are exposed to create a monopolar cutting area of 30 mm in total. The loop is simply positioned around the uterus before monopolar electrosurgery is applied (blend 1 position - 100 to 130 Watt). The loop is then pulled back until the uterus is sectioned.

		LiNA PowerBlade

					The unique patented Bipolar Forceps with an active Bipolar cut. This multifunction single use instrument offers 4 functions in one: Dissecting, Grasping, Bipolar Coagulation and Bipolar Cut. LiNA PowerBlade is remarkable time saving with regard to expensive and complex procedures like Hysterectomy (LAVH), Myomectomy, LAP Nissen Fundoplication, Appendectomy, Prostectomy and Cystectomy etc. LiNA PowerBlade is available in a 5mm and a 10mm version for laparoscopy as well as a short 5 and 10mm version for open surgery. Furthermore a 5mm PowerBlade with curved jaws and cutting electrode is available, capable of cutting and coagulating “around corners”. By using LiNA PowerBlade you benefit from the safety of bipolar technology, not only when coagulating, but also when transecting the tissue. The cutting electrode coagulates the tissue both during the cutting procedure and also when the cutting electrode is being withdrawn. This minimises bleeding and increases safety. When using LiNA PowerBlade the coagulation foot pedal must be activated both during coagulation and cutting. LiNA PowerBlade is available with two different types of connectors. Furthermore, cables suitable for every known HF generator are available. Consequently no investment in new expensive generators is required, as LiNA PowerBlade may be used together with every generator that has a bipolar outlet.
